Phosphorized Copper Anodes

This type of Copper is used for acid Copper plating, where anodes are with a minimum of 400 ppm of phosphorus.

The role of phosphorus is to bind copper and make sure the anode releases copper ions as required by the cathode.

Advantages of using KOPREX

  1. Uniform phosphorus distribution which minimizes copper consumption.
  2. Minimum and limited Impurities to control plating rejections.
  3. High purity of copper leads to less consumption of expensive brighteners and additives.

Forms and Shapes :

  • Balls- Size 25mm diameter
  • Nuggets – Size- 20mm x 25mm
  • Plates- Size(in inches) - 4 x 12”, 4”x 18”, 4”x24”, 4” X36” Thickness – from 15mm to 25mm

Oxygen Free Copper Anodes

This type of Copper is used for non-acidic and alkaline copper plating, where anodes are with less than 10ppm of oxygen.

The role of Oxygen-free copper is to avoid anode polarization and ductility in cathodic material.

Advantages of using KOPREX

  1. Strict Control of oxygen content in each lot.
  2. High purity of copper enhances the fast plating process.
  3. Low on impurities for preventing contamination in the plating bath.

Forms and Shapes :
